Should smoking be allowed at parks and other public outdoor venues?

Yeah, in designated locations. People have a right to smoke if they want to. People who don't smoke don't have to go in those areas.

No. I'm a physician. No one should smoke!

I'm a smoker and wanna quit, but I also feel that people have a right. I'm a mom and my kids hate it. I feel like there should be a "smoker spot" in public areas.

Absolutely not, because of the obvious health issues related to smoking. I believe second-hand smoke is dangerous. I travel all over the world, and it's shocking, the number of young people who smoke overseas compared to young people here in America. While I am sympathetic to those who are addicted to this habit ... the evidence is quite clear that secondary smoke has higher concentrations of cancer-causing carcinogens.

Definitely. I don't smoke, but I don't care what other people do. I could see it being [prohibited] inside, but not outside.

No. It shouldn't be allowed. The fewer places I can smoke, the better. I'm a smoker. It's awful.

I would say if there's children around, then no.

No. They discovered in 1967 that it kills you. How smart do you have to be? You go into the Boston Science Museum, and they show you a heart that looks like a black, crumpled stone. No thanks.

No, because of kids and stuff. I used to smoke, but I quit because it's not healthy.

No, for health reasons, and, it's not a good example for kids.
