Rock-O-Dundee Riders meetting held

OXFORD — At the Rock-O-Dundee Riders' monthly meeting on Monday, January 14, attendance was down, only 13, so it has started a Pot-of-Gold for members who are current.

They do like the MSA and put the names in a drawing; you must be present to win. They are starting out with $5 (which was donated by Dan Dubois from his 50/50 winnings), and add $5 each month. At their annual cookout in June (the last meeting of the year) they will draw until they get a winner.

The cost to the club will be $50 per year; hopefully this will up attendance, time will tell.

President/co-trail master Todd said the trails are in pretty good shape but more brush needs to be cut on all trails, especially ITS9. They would like to have their trails the best around. Jerry brought the new 26 corridor signs and the new ITS 89 directional signs and they all look great. The Casino paid for 20 of the new signs for which the club is very grateful.

Snowmobilers will be able to park and unload at the Casino; the 26-corridor trail to ITS 89 is in good shape and the CASINO is only 3.9 miles from ITS 89.

The club treasury is all but depleted (sadly); they need to have another fundraiser and are looking for ideas.

It's hoped all members will pay close attention and support the new bills coming up in legislature; remember, "United we Trail, Divided we Fail." Support your sport - join a club.
