Travel basketball tryouts scheduled

SACO — The Southern Maine Travel Basketball League will be hosting tryouts for boys and girls in grades three to six on Saturday, November 10, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The League will run from December 1 to February 16, and has teams in each age group.

Participants will be placed on teams and play 12 regular season games, one weekly practice and playoffs. Pre-registration is not required; however, you can contact Jim Seavey at mainehoops@gmail.com for more information.

All games and practices will be held at XLS Sportsworld in Saco (the former Southern Maine Sportszone).

The league is also accepting team registrations in the following age groups: Boys or girls in grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. See www.mainehoops.com for more information about options as a team.
