Hebron golf opens with two wins

HEBRON — Hebron Academy's golf team had an impressive start to the season with a pair of shutouts against Kents Hill and Bridgton.

In a 4-0 win against Bridgton Academy, Sam Kinasewich (HA) defeated Kyle Sacco (BA) 3 and 2; Mike Kelly (HA) defeated Derek Frasca (BA) 3 and 2; Tammy Germain (HA) defeated Tim Connolly (BA) 5 and 4 and Raphael Blouin (HA) defeated Dean Holowach (BA) 5 and 4.

In a 6-0 win against Kents Hill, Sam Kinasewich (HA) defeated Kyle Porter (KHS) 5 and 3; Mike Kelly (HA) defeated Ben Bowers (KHS) 3 and 2; Tammy Germain (HA) defeated Sam Hall (KHS) 1 UP; Raphael Blouin (HA) defeated Riley Francis (KHS) 5 and 4; Greg Labbe (HA) defeated Charles Malenfant (KHS) 4 and 2 and James Ucello (HA) defeated Chris Nottage (KHS) 4 and 3.

Mike Kelly (HA) shared medalist honors with James Uccello (HA) at 42. Sam Kinasewich (HA) followed with 43 and Tammy Germain (HA) with 44.
