Farm team wins championship

SOFTBALL CHAMPS — On Saturday, August 6 the South Paris and Otisfield Farm Team softball teams met for the Championship game. The South Paris Bluejays came out on top in seven innings, outscoring Otisfield 13-8. Both teams played a hard-fought game. The Bluejays were presented Championship t-shirts and a trophy at the end of the game. On Tuesday, September 18 a small ceremony was held at Paris Elementary School where their Championship Trophy and the game ball will be displayed in the trophy case.Coach Brian Phinney, Coach Chuck Truman, Alora Gordon, Rachel Newcomb, Kaitlyn Fogg, Emily Burdic, Mackenzie Truman, Coach Todd Truman, Chloe Truman, Elizabeth Johnson, Emma Phinney, Kelly Whittemore and Bree Heikkinen.
