Hunter Safety course

HARRISON — The Western Maine Fish & Game Club of Harrison is holding a Hunter Safety Course on Saturday and Sunday, September 15 and 16 at the Harrison Fire Station Community Room.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 15. The course will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. There is a $3 charge for this course.

This course is open to anyone 10 years of age or older. Children between 10-12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Students under 18 years old must have parent or guardian sign registration form.

You must attend both days in order to receive a certificate of completion, which is required for a Maine hunting license. Students are not permitted to bring any firearms, ammunition or knives to the class.
