Golf for food at Poland Spring

POLAND SPRING — On Wednesday, September 26, you are invited to help feed your neighbors by playing some golf at Poland Spring Resort! Registration is from 8 to 9 a.m. with a continental breakfast at the Pro Shop.

The tournament begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun-scramble format. Cocktails, lunch, raffle and awards at the Maine Inn begin at 2 p.m.

All proceeds (every dollar) raised will go to local food banks. Event organizers are working directly with the Oxford Helping Hands Food Pantry and Poland Food Bank to make this an annual event.
