Trap shooting clinic slated

HARRISON — The Western Maine Fish & Game Club in Harrison will be holding its fifth annual Arnold Dugmore Memorial Trap Shooting Clinic on Sunday, August 19, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

This clinic is to introduce people to the sport of shooting trap. It is held in honor of Arnold Dugmore, who was very active with the club's trap shooting activities prior to his death. This clinic is open to the public. Children between 10 and 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Beginners are not charged for this clinic.

Food and drink will also be available. You may bring your own shotgun or use one of the club's 12 gauge shotguns. Ammunition will be provided. Shooters will be required to wear safety equipment (hearing protection and safety glasses). You may bring your own or use what the club provides.
