McGarry to speak at Trout Unlimited meeting

PARIS — The Mollyockett Chapter of Trout Unlimited is proud to announce that renowned Maine fly fisher Rod McGarry will be speaking on Thursday, February 21 in the basement hall of the First Congregational Church in South Paris, which is located on Route 117, just south of Market Square.

Rod is a Registered Professional Maine Guide, a Board Certified Master Fly Casting Instructor and the staff instructor for LL Bean's Outdoor Discovery Schools.

Preceding Rod’s talk at 7 p.m. will be a fly tying demonstration at 6 p.m. given by Mollyockett Chapter members.

This meeting is open to the public. In addition, a raffle will be held to benefit the chapter’s efforts to construct a Veterans’ Fishing Pier at the Songo Locks in Naples to help Wounded Warriors have access to one of Southern Maine’s premier fishing spots.
