Otisfield Community School

Otisfield Community School was very fortunate to receive a very generous donation of school supplies from Vic Paille and Deb Kesseli. Vic is the brother of the school custodian Barbara Maguire.

Vic's friend Deb makes beautiful quilts and she donated one to be used as a fundraiser. Vic and Deb drove all the ways from Massachusetts to deliver the supplies to the school. What generous, kind-hearted people. Thank you.

Hannaford

Mrs. Sheldrick and Mrs. Ramharter were thrilled to represent Hannaford and Cents for Kids. These organizations each donated a $100 scholarship. The lucky recipients were Trinity May and Nathan Metcalf. The scholarships will be waiting for these kids when they graduate from high school.

Nurse

Jennifer Blastoff came to school to share her experience of being a nurse practitioner with the second grade students. Thank you for all the interesting information you shared with the students.

Fire

On October 12, several members of the Otisfield Fire and Rescue came to the school to teach the students about fire safety. Thank you to all the dedicated fire and rescue volunteers.

Concert

Otisfield Community School will present an All School Winter Concert during the traditional holiday dinner fundraiser on Saturday, December 8. The dinner runs from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and the concert starts at 5 p.m. Each grade of singers should be there by 5:45 p.m. and sit with their parents until called up to the risers. String players should meet in the music room by 4:40 p.m. for tuning.
