Aspiring at Harrison Elementary School

My Inspiration, Mrs. Roy

By Dillon Worster, third grade

Mrs. Roy is fantastic because she does not care what we think if she and I think differently. She would not care. She loves us for who we are. She is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. She never yells and a lot of teachers yell. She would treat us with respect. She was not strict or mean. She tried to be a good teacher. I will never forget her because she gave us kindness and respect. She was nicer than me. I can’t even describe how much I miss her. On the last day of school, I left her a note and I wonder how she liked it. I did not want to go.

Mrs. Roy is incredible because she tries to be a good teacher and she succeeds at it. I think that takes a lot of heart to do what she does. It is kind of her to give her time to make us better learners. Mrs. Roy is encouraging because she likes us and she is nice to us. We were nice to her, too. We did not yell at her because she did not yell at us.

Mrs. Roy helps me get through things like reading and writing and that’s why I like to do it. She is the best teacher I have ever had because she let us play on the iPad. Not a lot of teachers do that. She had a lot of lessons with us. She was nice to all of us and we were nice to her. We gave her the behavior she deserved. I like her because she does not get us in trouble unless we deserved it and she is kind to all of us just like Ms. Felt. Mrs. Roy is an efficient teacher. She never gives up and that’s why she is such a good teacher. Some teachers are strict, but she is not. She is awesome like Ms. Felt.

She might not know how incredible, but she is the most incredible person I have ever met. I miss her so, so much and so does everybody else. She is my favorite teacher.
