Agnes Gray School

Agnes Gray students designed a T-shirt to indicate a possible career choice which they might like to make. They are sure you will enjoy looking at the difference designs which are hanging in the school.

Fundraiser winners

The following students were the top ten sellers in the recent Mixed Bag fundraiser - Sophie Green, $323; Molly Poland, $304; Gabriel Damon, $190; Brettan Adams, $165; Wade Ryder, $136; Lincoln Merrill, $106; Kobe Dodge, $100; Emmett Thompson, $100; Kimberly Richards, $85 and Nathaniel Baez, $85. They were treated to a pizza party with Mrs. Ellsworth on a Thursday at noon.

Famous people

Third grade students at the Agnes Gray School in West Paris have researched a famous person and worked with the art teacher in making a portrait and then dressed in costume to resemble their famous person. The famous people researched were Abigail Adams by Randie Scott, Daniel Boone by Braden Foley, Rosa Parks by Allison Dunn, Abe Lincoln by Randy Wooten, Thomas Jefferson by Wade Ryder, George Washington by Will Bru, John F. Kennedy by Breighdyn Mason, Helen Keller by Makaila Brown, Roberto Clemente by Tanner Howard, Samantha Smith by Piper Fox and Martin Luther King by Brettan Adams

Ecosystem

Second grade students spent time at the Bryant Pond Conservation Camp. The main focus for the field trip was the study of the Ecosystem and seed transportation. Students were actively involved in groups and making their own seeds.

Conservation Camp

Fourth grade students spent a fun-filled two days at the Bryant Pond Conservation Camp working on team building and physical achievements. A side benefit was the wonderful food which was served! Students enjoyed the great view at the top of Mt. Christopher. Funding was helped by a grant and the PTO.
