Monday

Barter: to trade by exchanging one kind of good or services without using money (We had to barter for meat with potatoes.)

Tuesday

Convince: to make person feel sure; to cause to believe; persuade by argument or proof. (We had to convince the horses to cross the river because they didn't like the water.)

Wednesday

Dabble: to dip (hands, feet, etc.) in and out of water; splash; to do anything in a slight or superficial manner (You could say I dabble in water sports.)

Thursday

Hoarse: sounding rough and deep; having a rough voice (Years of inhaling coal dust left him sounding hoarse.)

Friday

Condemn: express complete disapproval of, typically in public; sentence to a particular punishment, especially death (The theft of money from the church was condemned by the police.)
