Atrium: a hall or court. (The atrium the bride walked through was strewn with flower petals.)

Stingy: not generous (Scrooge was known to be a stingy old man, until he changed one Christmas Eve.)

Thursday

Bolster: support or strengthen; prop up (The addition of new timber will bolster the roof of this old barn.)

Friday

Tint: variety of color; to change color slightly (This pond water has a greenish tint.)
