Harvest Supper

Hebron Station School will be having its fourth annual Harvest Supper on Friday, October 26 from 5 to 6 p.m. at the school which is located at 884 Station Road in Hebron.

The menu will be spaghetti with sauce, salad, bread, apple crisp, cider and coffee. Students, staff and parents are volunteering to hold this event.

The supper is a fundraiser for the school scholarship fund which goes to a graduating senior from OHCHS who is a resident of Hebron and has attended the elementary school.

All proceeds from the supper will go towards the scholarship fund.

We are in need of crockpots of spaghetti sauce with meat and without and items to be donated for our raffle. All ideas are welcome ie. large pumpkin, handmade crafts, children's toy or a gift certificate.

Cans for cure

The Student Council recently collected bottles and cans to help support Q97.9’s Cans for a Cure. The money raised from the event (the goal was $25,000) goes to breast cancer research, with 100 percent of the money staying in Maine.

Student Council consists of the following students:  Keegan Watson, Bram Dustin, Ethan Cutler Joe  Godomsky, Logan Alexander, Julia Bruce, Jessica  Punch, Vice President Margaret Hartnett and  President Victoria Eichorn.

Student Council set a goal of raising $200 from their hard work. Not only did we raise $200  in bottles, but we also collected $130 from a “hat day” while donating another $200. In all, Student Council was able to give Q97.9 more than $500 towards its goal. We want to thank everyone who helped us reach our goal by donating bottles, money, or time.
