Scholarships available at Hutchinson Center

BELFAST — Thinking of college? Wondering how you might begin? Considering financial aid or scholarships you may be eligible for?

Good news! A great way to begin or return to college is to take a college course,and a scholarship for a course is just the way to get started. You may qualify for one of the scholarships listed below awarded at the Hutchinson Center each year.

Annual Fund, Best of the Best; United Mid-Coast Charities, Harris & Ann Bixler; Shirley and Ronald Jarvella, Fred Hutchinson; Andrew Kuby Memorial (funded by Belfast Rotary Club); Senior College, Midcoast AAUW; Osher, Aspirations; Ira Cobe (funded by Maine Community Foundation); Seaport Family Practice Health Professional and  Summer Folk Scholarship

One recent scholarship recipient wrote the following, after receiving a Best of the Best scholarship, “It really touches my heart to know that there are people out there whom I have never even meet that are willing to donate funds to help
