Oxford Elementary aspires

I don't know what I want to be but did you when you were in sixth grade.  I think that when you were in sixth grade that you wanted to be many things just like me.

Some of the things that I wanted to do was a cop which led me to a spy, then a teacher, then to what I want to do now.  I want to be an Ed Tech.  My mom and sister inspired me to do this.  They wanted to help kids and so did I.  That's why I want to be an Ed Tech.

It's going to take a lot of work to be an Ed Tech because I have to go to college and then I have to take certain classes.

When I get a job I want to continue my education.  When I get bored with one career path I move on to the next.

Caleigh Gallant

Mrs. Wilson, Grade 6

My aspiration is to be a race car driver.  That is because my grampa is a race car driver.  I am going to need a sponsor.  I am also going to need a race car and tires, helmet and a fire suit.

I am going to need a crew which is a few people to work with me.  I am going to need got do a lot of training.

Nicholas Wilson

Mrs. Stevens, Grade 2

My aspiration is to be a doctor.  I need to go to medical school.  I want to be a doctor because I can help people. That is why I aspire to be a doctor.

Brianna Foster

Mrs. Judkins, Grade 2

My aspiration is to be a chef because I want to be a good cook.  And because I never got to see what it looks like in a chef's kitchen.  And I would like it.

Lucas Landers

Mrs. Langbehn, Grade 2

My aspiration is to be a educational mother!  Because I like Mrs. Lengthen and I like school.  I can't wait to grow up because I can take of myself.

Sarah Berry

Mrs. Langbehn, Grade 2

My aspiration is to be a teacher.  I need to go to college for four years to be a teacher.  I want to be a teacher because I can help kids read or write.  That is why I aspire to be a teacher.

Chelsea Monson

Mrs. Judkins, Grade 2

When I grow up I am choosing to be a clothing designer so I can have a bunch of outfits and dresses and swimwear and things like that.

That way I can sell the items I've made and earn a little cash.  If you need a certain kind of clothing just come ask me.

I think that you will need to go to school and learn how to sew and knit so that you can be a clothing designer.

These are few things you will need, a computer, sewing machine and a few dolls to test your designs on.

Mikaelah Nevaeh Bailey

Mrs. Stevens, Grade 2

Aspire Higher Week has really got me thinking about my future career and about how there's no limit to the possibilities.  Before this Aspire Higher Parade I thought my job ideas were limited to McDonnell's and Burger King, but now I could be a scientist, but for now I'm just thinking about a Microsoft game tester.

To become a Microsoft game tester I will first need to write a letter to Microsoft about my gaming skills and what's left over.  Second, hopefully, I will get letter with a job application in it.  Third, finish a Play Station and mail it.  And last, but not least, move near a Microsoft studio.

If that plan doesn't fold out correctly I shall work for WMTW (aka also known as Channel Eight).  Because I know about half of the things to do.  I know how to do weather, putting tapes in, listing things on the computer and halving a good time being there.  Also the pay is good.

Those are my two career choices but I still know there's no limit to job ideas.
