Joyce and Rawn Phinney are one of 70 local business and community members that donated $100 scholarships to students this year. The scholarship money is held in the Kiwanis Charitable Foundation until students graduate from high school and enroll in a post-secondary institution. The mission of the “Aspire Higher” initiative is to significantly increase the percentage of Oxford Hills students and residents who pursue college and post-secondary education.
