She was born on January 19, 1962, in Norway and grew up in Old Orchard Beach and South Paris, and attended Oxford Hills High School. After finishing her GED, she served in the U.S. Navy. She later completed a certificate program in medical assisting at Southern Maine Community College.

Mrs. Sherburne is survived by her parents, mother Muriel Conant of South Paris and father Ben Conant and wife Carol of South Paris; sister, Billie Conant and husband Kevin Sweeney of South Portland; sister, Christina Gooldrup and husband Eddie of Auburn; brother, Ben Conant of Brunswick; stepsister, Stephanie Fournier of Greenwood; her sons, Chad Conant of Portland, Justin Sherburne of Portland and C.J. Conant and his wife Christina of Auburn; daughter, Tia Sherburne of South Portland; nephews, Bryan Conant of Portland and Brent Conant and wife Lisa of Arundel; grandchildren, Xochell, Kobi, Kayden, Raymond and Vante, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is also survived by her devoted husband of 22 years, Daryl Sherburne, whose daily love, care and attentiveness enabled her to live longer than doctors had expected and to be with her family for one more Christmas and her 51st birthday in January. His unfailing commitment to his wife during this time was an inspiration to all and will never be forgotten by those who love her.

Mrs. Sherburne cherished the company and affection of her family and much enjoyed the experience of being a grandmother, especially during her illness.

A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, February 14, at 1 p.m. at the South Paris Legion Hall on 12 Church Street. Contributions in her memory may be made to Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills, P. O. Box 82, Norway, ME 04268.
