NORWAY — Bertha M. Bonney, 87, of Norway died Monday, January 14, 2013 at Stephens Memorial Hospital. She was born in South Paris on February 3, 1925, the daughter of Charles and Beulah Foss Rouse. She attended Paris High School and had been a homemaker all of her life. She married Ralph G. Bonney, Jr. on July 4, 1941. For 20 years she sold clothing at her home in Yagger. She baked wedding cakes and anniversary cakes.

Mrs. Bonney is survived by her son, Chuck of Norway; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband and daughters, Linda Knightly, Gloria Day, Carla Fortier and Brenda Somers.

Graveside services will be held at Norway Pine Grove Cemetery in the spring; time and date to be announced. “For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9.
