Gerald E. Lowe

OXFORD — Gerald E. Lowe, 67, of Oxford died Monday, December 24, 2012 at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway. He was born in Rumford on September 11, 1945, the son of Birchard E. and Ella I. Monk Lowe. He grew up and attended schools in Sumner. He faithfully served our country in the U. S. Army. He married Sandra Jasper on June 10, 2006. He had been employed at Elan in Poland as a night watchman, retiring due to illness. He enjoyed watching TV and faithfully attended Norway Baptist Church.

Mr. Lowe is survived by his wife of Norway and a half-brother, Clifford Lowe.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 29 at 2 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris with a time of visitation prior to the service. Family and friends attended visitation on Friday evening. Interment will be in the spring at Wayside Cemetery in West Paris.
