NORWAY — The good Lord called Patricia Lambert Bourgoine Rolfe home on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. She was surrounded by family, friends, and the caring staff at Stephens Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 10, 1939 to Ruth and Franklin Lambert in Norway. She attended schools and graduated from Norway High School. She later attended school at Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute where she received an Associate Degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
She married Charlie J. Bourgoine on May 3, 1958 in Hartford, CT. After having their first child, Daniel, they moved to Aroostook County to reside with her husband’s family. They went on to have four children. She was a room mother and Brownie Troop Leader. She picked potatoes during harvest season and used this money for Christmas presents.
After Mr. Bourgoine died in 1977, she returned to her hometown of Norway and then married Rodney T. Rolfe. Rodney had first met Patricia in high school and was introduced by Rodney’s sister, Diana Rolfe.
Mrs. Rolfe went on to work in various capacities. She co-owned Rolfe’s footwear and was a nurse at Oxford Hills Junior High School and Market Square Health Care. Later on she was fortunate enough to work at Good Neighbors where she greatly enjoyed the camaraderie of both co-workers and clients.
She was a communicant of St. Louis Parish in Limestone and at St. Catherine of Sienna of Norway. She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She loved time at “camp” in South Addison with her husband and the dogs, trips to Florida, California and Italy.

She is also survived by a brother, John Lambert and his wife, Carol and many nieces and nephews. Her “puppies,” Molly and Ladybug, will also miss being spoiled by her.
