OXFORD — Jean Ducey, 86, of Oxford went home to the Lord on Thursday, November 29, 2012 after a brief illness. She will be lovingly missed by her family and many friends.

She was very active in her community and was a member for 20 years of the American Legion Post 112. She was also a member of the Oxford Fire Dept. Auxiliary for 15 years. She loved her Bingo night and loved playing blackjack with her grandson at the Oxford Casino.

Mrs. Ducey is survived by four daughters, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as G.G.

A celebration of her life will be held Friday, December 14 at 1 p.m. at the Oxford Congregational Church on King Street in Oxford.
