Lorelei A. Cooper

WEST PARIS — Lorelei A. Cooper, 70, of West Paris went to be with the Lord on November 1, 2012 at Ledgeview Living Center with her family by her side. She was born in Norway on March 30, 1942, the daughter of Vilho John and Dorothy Mae (Emmons) Waisanen. She graduated from West Paris High School and had been employed as a bookkeeper for an insurance company. She married Christopher Cooper.

She enjoyed horses, painting and hunting. She ran Cooper Farms with her husband Chris and enjoyed baking for the farm.

Mrs. Cooper is survived by her husband of West Paris; three sons, Billy Silver and his wife Tammy, Adam Silver and his wife Gail and Tony Silver and his wife Sue; five grandchildren; four sisters, Priscilla Bedard of Norway, Dixie Waisanen of Waterford, Shirley Foster of Greenwood and Cathy Everett of Florida and two brothers, Terry Waisanen of Greenwood and Ricky Waisanen of Harrison. She was predeceased by her mother, Dorothy Waisanen and her father, John Waisanen.

Family and friends attended a time of visitation on Sunday, November 4 at Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris. Burial will be private at a later date.
