PARIS — Jennie V. Kilponen, 81, of South Paris, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Market Square Health Center. She was born in West Paris on June 15, 1931, the daughter of Joseph and Inez Ring. She was educated in local schools. She married Ellis Kilponen Sr. on August 18, 1955. She worked at Penley's and Mecon Manufacturing for many years. She also enjoyed going for rides and clipping coupons.

Mrs. Kilponen is survived by her children, Gail Farr of Canton, Loraine Bonney and her husband Kirby of Sumner, Debra Kangas of West Paris, Karen Morse and her companion of New Hampshire, Belinda Edmunds and her husband Paul of Waterford, Mark Kilponen of South Paris, Ellis Kilponen Jr. and his wife Kathy of South Paris; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; her brother Jim Ring and wife Rose of West Paris; her sister Dolly Walker of South Paris and many nieces, nephew and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband of 53 years, her brother, Jack Ring and her son-in-law, Leland Kangas.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, at Wayside Cemetery in West Paris.
