Dorothy C. Easton

FALMOUTH — Dorothy C. Easton, 90, of Falmouth, formerly of Norway, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Sedgewood Commons in Falmouth. She was born in Alden, NY on August 31, 1922, daughter of Carl E. and Dorothy J. (Connell) Schmedlin.

She graduated from the University of Buffalo; she was trained in classical music and had a nursing degree. She married Robert Easton who had a dental practice in Norway for many years where she was the bookkeeper. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in South Paris and a member of the school board for the Oxford Hills District.

Mrs. Easton is survived by her six children, Jonathan Easton, Emily Easton, Robin Easton, Chris Easton, William Easton and Mark Easton and four grandsons, Jeremy, Erin, Luke and Jacob. She is predeceased by her husband, who passed away on April 5, 1985 and brother, John Schmedlin.

At her request there will be no services at this time. Arrangements under the care of Oxford Hills and Weston Funeral Services, 1037 Main St. Oxford.
