MECHANIC FALLS — June Allard, 91, of Mechanic Falls died Friday, September 14, 2012 at Clover Health Care Center in Auburn. She was born in Auburn, March 7, 1921 the daughter of Earle and Beatrice LeClair Grant. She attended schools in North Raymond, Mechanic Falls and North Yarmouth Academy. She worked at the shipyard in Bath during WWII, as a waitress at Poland Spring Mansion House, at heel factories in Lewiston-Auburn and as a domestic. She was a member of American Legion Post 150 Auxilliary in Mechanic Falls. She married Frank Allard in 1945; he died January 15, 1994.

Mrs. Allard is survived by her daughter, Jackie Simoneau of Lewiston; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons, Ronald and Deane and her sister, Lorraine.

Family and friends attended funeral services Wednesday, September 19 at the Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 26 West Dwinal Street, Mechanic Falls with interment in the Maine Veterans Cemetery, Augusta. On-line condolences may be shared with her family at www.chandlerfunerals.com.
