NORWAY — Ramona Rose (Russell) Moore, of Norway, passed away peacefully at home in her sleep Saturday, July 28, 2012 following a long illness. 

Born April 23, 1957 to Edwin (Dusty) Russell and Sylvia Mae Dell (Harrimen) Russell. 

Ramona attended Oxford Hills High School and graduated with the class of '75. 

She had worked at Cornwall's in the shipping department and the Advertiser Democrat and Goodwin's Motel. In later years, she was a homemaker. 

Ramona had a sense of humor and she enjoyed the simple things in life. She especially loved the homemade gifts that people made for her and the old family black and white movies. She also enjoyed reading stories about the olden days. She will be missed by family and friends. 

She is survived by two sons: Thompson Moore III and his companion Bonnie White and Tyler Moore and grandson Isaac; one brother Leonard E. Russell and his wife Carolyn; brother-in-law Jeff Ballou; a niece Toni Martin; a nephew Danny Patten, Jr. and manu aunts, uncles and cousins. 

She was predeceased by her parents, a sister Edwina Ballou and nephew Jeremy Patten. 

Visiting hours begin 1 a.m. August 2. The funeral begins at 2 p.m. Committal service will be in Mechanic Falls at the Maple Grove Cemetery. There will be a gathering at the home of Jeff and Edwina Ballou at 114 Main Street in Norway. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Chandler Funeral Home at Main Street, South Paris to help defray funeral expenses.
