Jeffrey A. Titus

POLAND — Jeffrey Andrews Titus, 60, of Poland, formerly of South Portland and Cape Elizabeth, died Thursday, August 2, 2012 at his home. He was born in Belfast on April 18, 1952, the son of Leroy M. and Virginia H. Huson Titus. He attended Belfast Area High School and graduated in the Class of 1970 from Westbrook High School. He faithfully served our country in the U. S. Navy. He married Ramona Hall on June 3, 1972.

He had been a Master Plumber and Master Heat Technician. He worked for BIW and graduated from their apprentice program. He was a former partner of Maietta, Titus and Blaschke Plumbing and Heating Co. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Mr. Titus is survived by his wife of Poland; his mother of Norway; a daughter, MaryAnn Young Lopes and her husband Joseph of Windham; grandchildren, Joseph Alden Lopes and Kathleen Eva Lopes; three sisters, Dianne Cunningham and her husband Charles of Jacksonville, NC, Sheryl Rainbolt and her husband John of Luther, OK and Arleile Minigell and her husband Laurie of Minot and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 10 at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, 17 E. Main St., South Paris with interment to follow at Riverside Annex Cemetery in South Paris. Donations in his memory can be made to the Animal Welfare Society, PO Box 43, West Kennebunk, ME 04094.
