NORWAY — Arlene Z. Maxim, 78, of Norway passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at Market Square Health Care Center in South Paris. She was born in Buckfield on March 20, 1934, daughter of Prince H. and Ethel L. (Bumpus) Cash. She married Richard Maxim on November 27, 1954; he passed away December 30, 2010.

She was a seamstress and did a lot for other people. When she wasn’t sewing she was crocheting, creating lots of animals.

Mrs. Maxim is survived by her sisters, Virginia Chesley of Oxford and Sandra Page of Sumner; her brother, Robert Cash of Virginia and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Richard.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, August 2 from 6– 8 p.m. at Oxford Hills and Weston Funeral Services, 1037 Main St., Oxford. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 3 at 4 p.m. at Riverside Annex in South Paris. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Lions Club, P.O.
