Roy E. Toothaker
SOUTH PARIS — Roy Edward Toothaker, 60, of South Paris died at his home on Monday, July 16, 2012. He was born in Lewiston on September 5, 1951, the son of George Linwood and Lucille Dubois Toothaker. He served our country in the U. S. Army.
He had been employed at local shoe shops and mills. He enjoyed traveling, playing cards, horse racing and the Oxford Fair. He also enjoyed visiting with his mother at Town & Country and his nephews.
Mr. Toothaker is survived by his mother, Lucille Wojcik of Norway; his brothers and sisters, Hazel A. Gray and her companion Joe Rosa of Salem, NH, Linwood R. and his wife Betty Jeanne of Norfolk, MA, Rodney V. and his companion Jeanne Miller of Norway, Richard and his wife Linda of Millis, MA and Jacalyn Grand of Norway; nephews, Matthew Martin and John Martin; godson, Jason Gaudet and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, George L. Toothaker; a sister, Arline Gaudet and brothers, Lloyd, George, Jr. and Walter.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 21 at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Sienna Church in Norway with interment to follow at Riverside Annex Cemetery in South Paris. Family and friends may attend visitation on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris.
