Erland F. Noyes
AUBURN — Erland “Bing” F. Noyes, 67, of Auburn died Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Hospice House in Auburn. He was born in Lewiston on November 8, 1944, the son of Francis E. and Harriet Greenleaf Noyes. He attended schools in Norway and graduated from Lewiston High School. He faithfully served our country in the U.S. Army. He had been a car salesman, a manager at Forest City, a consultant for insurance companies and had worked at Pioneer Plastics where he was on the medical emergency team.
He was a member of the DAV Commanders Club, a past officer of the New Auburn Social Club, of which he was still active and a member of the American Legion on South Main St., in New Auburn.
Mr. Noyes is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Eckhardt and her husband Cory of Katy, TX; two grandchildren, Alexandra and Chase; a brother, Hartley “Bud” Noyes of Auburn and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and sisters, Beverly Treadwell and Margaret Meserve.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 28 at 11 a.m. at Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris with interment to follow at Riverside Annex Cemetery. On-line condolences may be shared with his family at www.chandlerfunerals.com.
