Winnifred Ruth Fanjoy

NORWAY — Winnifred Ruth Fanjoy, 79, of Norway died Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Marshwood Center in Lewiston after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Houlton on August 12, 1932, the daughter of Charles and Ruby McGillicuddy Hutchinson. She worked in the Maritime Electronics industry, building switch boards for boats.

Mrs. Fanjoy is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Fanjoy of Norway and Patricia Caruso and family of Springfield, MA; one son, Curtis Fanjoy Jr. of Auburn; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and personal care assistant, Charlene Barker. She was predeceased by a daughter, Roxanne O’Shea.

Family and friends attended calling hours, followed by a funeral service, on Monday, June 25 at Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris.
