Mollie Stalker

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Mollie Stalker, 91, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Luther Ridge Assisted Living in Middletown. She was the wife of the late Robert Stalker.

She was born October 25, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Ann (Durante) Dolce. She was an Inspector for Pratt and Whitney until her retirement in the 1990s. She resided in New York before moving to Bridgeport. Since then she had resided in Milford, Prospect, South Paris, Cheshire and most recently Middletown. During her years in Cheshire, she was a communicant of St. Bridget Church.

Mrs. Stalker is survived by her daughters, Barbara Makanoff of Scarborough, NY, Judith Ratte of Middletown and Patricia Young of South Paris; her brother, Michael Dolce of Long Island, NY; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her three brothers; her sister and her grandson, Nicholas.

Funeral services were held on Monday, March 3, at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St., Cheshire. Friends were received by the family prior to the Mass. Burial was held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford.
