OXFORD — Edward Alton Sawyer, 22, of Oxford died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at his home. He was born in Norway on September 23, 1990, the son of Dennis and Darcy Ward Sawyer. He graduated from Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. He enjoyed watching sports, racing, football and baseball. He loved big rigs and plow trucks.

Mr. Sawyer is survived by his mother of Oxford; two brothers, Cory and Hunter; a half brother, Marc; his grandmothers, Gloria Sawyer of South Paris and Millie May of Norway; his grandfather, Mahlon Ward of Enfield, NH; many aunts, uncles and cousins and a great-aunt Marilyn Leighton. He was predeceased by his father, Dennis; his aunt, Nance and his grandfather, Alton.

Funeral services were held on Friday, February 22 at Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris.
