Barbara E. Witham

PARIS — Barbara E. Witham, 78, of South Paris passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at her home. She was born in Andover on April 4, 1934, daughter of Henry and May (Goodwin) Porter.

She was a homemaker. Years ago she taught Sunday School in Andover. She and her husband owned and operated A&W New and Used Goods and Redemption Center in Rangeley.

Mrs. Witham is survived by her husband, Albert Witham; her children, Robert Palmer and wife Linda, Rodney Palmer and wife Mary, Shirley Market and husband Timothy, Linda Doughty and husband Elmer, George Palmer and wife Carol, Clinton Palmer and wife Debra, Claude Palmer, Cedric Palmer and wife Theresa and Amelia Palmer; sisters, Edna Porter and Fay Johnson; brothers, James (Jimmie), Vern and Gerald Porter and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends attended visiting hours on Saturday, February 23 and Sunday, February 24 at Oxford Hills and Weston Funeral Services, 1037 Main St., Route 26, Oxford.
