OXFORD— Western Maine experienced a few days of nasty, dreary weather last week; chilly one day, sunny the next, windy the day after. But on Saturday, Sept. 14, the clouds finally parted, the rain quit being so stubborn, and the heat turned up at the Oxford County Fair.
No matter what day you chose to visit, you more than likely experience lots of family fun, good food, and great performances. Sprag Session and Cassie & Maggie MacDonald performed on Thursday, 33 Miles and Broken:51 performed on Friday, and Davina Leone, Caroline Cole and legendary Kenny Rogers performed Saturday.
Whether you were playing games, getting food at one of the many food booths, visiting the animals or watching performances, there was always something going on from morning until evening.
From pig scramble to tractor pulling to Kenny Rogers, the 2013 Oxford County Fair was fun for people of all ages.
