Do you think teachers should be armed?

Photo:

Probably not. If you're going to do it, have someone else do it. They have their hands full teaching already. Maybe they should at least have a stun gun.

With the way things are going now, it wouldn't be a bad idea, especially in high schools.

Sure, why not. Everyone else is [armed]. If you're gonna have a few, why not all?

No, I don't. Someone in the school should, but not everyone. It shouldn't be a cop, though. It should be a coach, or someone else trained with a gun. Someone you wouldn't expect.

No, I don't think so. Violence breeds violence. If the teacher is armed and the guy who comes in is armed, what if the teacher can't get the gun out in time?

Maybe not with guns, but with pepper spray, if it comes to a situation where a student has a gun. But they shouldn't have weapons.

No. Teachers are just like everyone else, they have tempers, they have issues. They could lose control just as easily as anyone else. The gun could also be taken away by an attacker and used against them.

I don't think they should be armed with guns, but I believe there should be more security for schools. Maybe more security guards would be a good idea.

Only if they want to be. It shouldn't be a requirement. Not everyone feels safe carrying a gun.

No. There should be one guy to walk the hallways or at least at the entrance of the schools.
