FATIGUED — The driver of this 2012 Mini Cooper, Diane Dupuis, 59, of Woodstock, was sent to Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway for an evaluation after her car went off the road January 3 while heading north on Route 26 around 12:30 p.m., said State Police Trooper Dan Hanson. According to Hanson, Dupuis said she had been feeling ill during the time of the crash, which occurred on her way home from a doctor's appointment. Hanson said fatigue is a factor in the crash. The accident occurred just beyond the intersection of Route 26 and Andrews Road, Hanson reported. After Dupuis' vehicle left the road, Hanson said, it severed the guard rail and crashed into a utility pole, shown above, before coming to a stop in the snow. According to Hanson, there were no other passengers in the vehicle.
