ART EVERYWHERE — Art could be found everywhere Saturday, not just on exhibit in booths. Children got to wear it and create it at the 45th Annual Norway Arts Festival.

BUSY PLACE — Job seekers search for employment using the computers at the South Paris CareerCenter. Staff estimate 300-400 people use the Center’s walk-in services every month. Due to budget constraints, the Center will be unable to offer the services when it moves from its current location in the Western Maine Community College building in September.

EXTRICATION — Firefighters from Paris and Hebron work for a half hour Tuesday to remove the roof of this Audi in order to free the driver, 19-year-old Brandon Buffington who collided head-on with an Oxford Hills schoolbus on Rte. 119 in Hebron.

MARCHING — Students, teachers and other leaders in the Oxford Hills School District show their school spirit while walking down Main Street in Paris Tuesday during the district’s “March for Aspirations.” The parade began around 10 a.m. at the Oxford Hills Middle School and ended at the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.

SIX AT A TIME — Sidewalks overflow Friday as children from all over come to Norway for its annual Halloween Fest. Debra Partridge, recreation director, says more than 1,700 came to Norway Friday afternoon.

IMPORTANT — A serious talk between Riley Ray Woodworth, 4, of Norway, and Santa transpires at the Friday visit to the Norway fire station with Santa sponsored by Santa Visits Oxford, Norway Downtown, Norway Fire Department and the Norway Recreation Department.
