Norway gets new tanker

BRAND NEW —   On November 20, the Norway Fire Department received its new, 2012 2,500-gallon tanker, shown here, to replace its 1989 Freightliner tanker. The new truck is much safer than the old one and meets the standards of the National Fire Protection Association, said Norway Fire Captain Tim Yates. The truck was purchased with help from a $199,500 grant from The Department of Homeland Security the fire department received last January.
