QUICKLY DOUSED — Firefighters from Paris, Norway, Oxford and Hebron respond to a fire around 3:45 p.m. at 239 East Oxford Road in Paris last Thursday, as the rain poured and the temperatures dropped. According to Paris Fire Chief Brad Frost, the damage was isolated in the kitchen of the home and was most likely caused by a heat lamp used to incubate eggs. Nobody was home when the fire started, said Frost. Firefighters were on scene for less than an hour, he said.
