DESTROYED — Around about 4 p.m. Sunday, Norway firefighters and PACE paramedics responded to a car on fire on Camp Cinnamon Road in Norway, which was quickly extinguished, said Norway Fire Chief Dennis Yates. According to Yates, the vehicle was destroyed, but no injuries were reported. The owner of the car, Halyne Graiver, was driving her car home when it started to produce smoke before catching on fire, said Yates. According to Yates, the fire, caused by mechanical failure, had spread to the woods, but was also put out quickly. Yates said the fire department used its new truck with fire-fighting foam which "worked well."
