What matters most to you: the economy, education or social programs?

The economy right now, it's directly related to education and social programs. If the economy gets better social programs and education will increase.

The economy. I think the economy needs to get better and make more jobs. If the economy improves there would be more money for social programs and education.

It's a toss-up between the economy and education. I would say the economy is more so because I've seen it impact so many people. Education is a huge one because I've seen so many people come out of college strapped with debt. It's no way to start a career and a life.

All three are about even. Improving the economy is probably most important though.

The economy. Look at it, we have less people working than four years ago and we're down $4 billion a day. If we don't have a different president, it isn't going to get better.

They're all important. Right now, with the economy the way it is, it's important to keep social programs for people who need them because they are out of work or otherwise.

The economy. Without money people can't get the goods and services they need to provide for themselves, from infants to the elderly. Money is a tool; if there aren't enough tools from jobs, it hurts. I think this election will determine whether the economy gets better or worse.

Social programs, mainly because you have to have people's basic needs met in order to improve society.

The economy. It's sad to see so many people out of work. I'm lucky enough to have a job but there's a lot of people in Maine that are struggling.

Education. I feel that it's important to keep up funding schools because they keep on upping the standards for children but they don't have the money to support it, so they keep closing programs.
