What do you do with your old prescription drugs?

Photo:

I've done the drug take-back in the past, but I usually use up the prescription. I think it's a good program. It's really important for people get rid of their old drugs; it's really a problem if teens and adults can get into them.

I haven't had to do that very much, but when my mother-in-law passed away we took her leftover meds to the fire department to dispose of them.

I don't have any. I guess if I did I would just throw them in the trash, but I've never had to do anything like that.

I usually give them back to the pharmacy or the doctor's office.

I don't have any prescriptions, but if I did, they'd probably end up under my bed or something.

I think our drug store at home takes them back.

I don't use very many medications. If I do have any that are old, I know there are places you can dispose of them like pharmacies, the hospital or the police department.

I don't really take prescriptions that would pile up over time. I have asthma, but inhalers have a pretty long shelf life.

Considering I've never been on prescription drugs before, I don't know. Probably flush them down the toilet.

I don't know, I always take them all. Isn't that what they tell you to do?
