Should iPads be used in the classroom?

Photo:

Yes. With technology changing, you gotta keep up with the times. iPads are used in the home, so why not turn it into an educational tool? It's not just something for Facebook or games.

iPads? No. They have enough gadgetry out there. Taxpayers had to take care of laptops. I don't think we should have to take care of iPads, too. These kids in school today have to have this, that and the other.

Depends who is paying for them. Where does it put the state in terms of the budget? I want to see kids succeed, but at the expense of the taxpayers, I am not sure what the trade-off is.

I don't think any computer should be used. Technology is killing the youth of America.

With limitations. My granddaughter knows how to use them and she's three. As long as they can restrict the Internet access.

Yeah, I do. I think it would be both beneficial and useful.

I've never dealt with those before, but I think schools should do more hands-on activities.

Yeah, why not? The world is changing. I think it'd be useful.

I am torn because I can see the educational benefits, but at the same time, I'm old-fashioned. I'd rather see kids doing hands-on activities rather than using a computer.

Yes, I think they should. I don't think they should be used exclusively, though. They should only use certain applications. It'd be good for current events that you can't get out of a school book.
