McFalls cafe celebrates grand opening

NEW BUSINESS —   Mechanic Falls Town Manager John Hawley, right, gives a speech moments before Shannon Bissonnette, owner of Better Than Average Maine Made Gift Shop & Café in Mechanic Falls, cuts the ribbon during the shop's grand opening Friday. Hawley says the opening of the shop will be a nice addition to downtown Mechanic Falls. 

GRAND OPENING — Customers swarmed the new Better Than Average café in Mechanic Falls Friday. The café is located at 1 North Main Street and is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. 7 days a week.
