NOT SUSPICIOUS —  A fire that started in a pick-up truck, parked at 524 Town Farm Road in Hartford September 1, traveled to the mobile home next to it and burned about one-quarter of the building, said Canton Fire Chief Shane Gallant Tuesday morning. Gallant said the State Fire Marshal's Office was investigating the cause Tuesday, but that the fire does not appear to be suspicious. According to Gallant, the truck was parked at the home six to seven hours before it went up in flames. Gallant said the renters of the home were present when the fire broke out and both escaped without injury. Firefighters from Canton, Buckfield, Sumner, Turner and Livermore responded and managed to have the fire under control in 15 minutes, said Gallant, but several hours were spent checking for hot spots to make sure the fire would not reignite.  According to Gallant, the truck is a total loss.
