Community Concepts accepting fuel assistance applications

Community Concepts has now started taking Fuel Assistance applications at our South Paris and Lewiston offices and our town sites for the upcoming heating season beginning August 15th. Applications are done by appointment only. Please call 1-800-866-5588 to schedule an appointment.

For households with more than 10 persons, contact your Community Action Agency (CAA) for eligibility guidelines. Other program guidelines and requirements may apply - your CAA will provide you with all the details.

NOTE ABOUT INCOME GUIDELINES: 
1. If you have a child 24 months or under, or someone in your household is 60 years of age or older, follow the second set of guidelines. 
2. If your income is over the income guideline for the program, we can deduct medical expenses paid out-of-pocket. These include and are not limited to: insurance premiums, co-pays, prescriptions, dental & optical. Medical expenses are the only deductions that can be used if you are over the income guidelines.
