PACE gets new ambulance

NEW RIDE — Western Maine Health President and CEO Timothy A. Churchill announced on July 23 that PACE in Norway has received a new ambulance. PACE Director Bob Hand said the new ambulance will add to the level of service PACE provides, and that the acquisition of the ambulance continues to be a part of PACE's overall long-term vehicle replacement plan, which means that PACE will continue to rotate its newer vehicles toward the front line to continue to ensure safe and reliable transportation. According to Abigail Graiver, community relations coordinator of Stephens Memorial Hospital, PACE has six ambulances that respond to more than 3,600 calls in the Oxford County region annually.
